Today I finished adding details and information for box sets 2&3 of Wave 3 ALIEN ReAction figure 3 packs. These two package items now have their own dedicated pages on HIDEOUS PLASTIC.
Included in Box Set No.2 is Brett, Parker and the extended tongue variant Alien.
Included in Box Set No.3 is Dallas, Lambert and the sliding tongue variant Alien.
I also posted details on Box Set No.1 earlier today. It includes Ash, Ripley and Kane.
There’s just a few more ALIEN ReAction figure items to be added, now. Lemme see… hmmm… There’s still the SPACE VILLAIN Blind Box Wave 2&3. That’s about seven items. The 40th Anniversary pair and nine other ALIENS items that were released last year. So more figures to be documented just yet; but we’re crossing the two thirds completion mark about now.

This set of 3 figures includes variants of previously released items, Ash, Rippers and Kane. Also appearing in this set for the first time in ReAction format is the Nostromo’s feline mascot, Jones.
Also appearing in this set for the first time on card is Jones. Jonesy is an accessory included on card for the first time with the Ripley figure. Sure, he looks like someone set off a flash-bang in his face; but he’ll get over it. I’m sure he’s seen worse. Welcome, to the line up, Jones.
This set of figures was released at New York Comic Con in 2018 and completed the crew roster of the Nostromo in retro styled, five points of articulated 3.75 inch ReAction figure space monstery goodness.
This figure is more than a mash up. It celebrates the genesis of these 3.75 inch tall ALIEN figures, more than forty years ago. A beginning involving the unlikely marriage of Kenner’s vintage Star Wars Hammerhead Alien toy into the ALIEN property.
This set of three figures was released in 2017 in blind box format. There’s a nifty blue and red dude, a translucent see through green thingie and a jet black critter completely lacking in any other detail. It’s a great set of three, random collectible toys. All in wonderful retro, 3.75 inch format.
I had the opportunity to talk to Daniel recently about his hobby. He shared a ton of info along with photos of his work. There’s nothing quite like talking to a fellow fan, especially one in possession of a creative streak and a preparedness to discuss their hobby.
This wonderful and messy lookin’ piece was a New York Comic Con 2016 exclusive figure. It was also the final item in Super7 and Funko three year long collaboration. She’s a beauty, huh.
The ALIEN ReAction figure play set was inspired by Kane’s discovery of the egg chamber within the derelict spacecraft as seen in ALIEN. The spooky ambience of the HR Giger designed environment is captured in corrugated card and resin/plastic and emulates similar such products made late last century with an immaculate retro presentation. Perfect for the eight year old in your life to experience first hand the joy of exploring this iconic locale in the movie; where they can be accosted by an extraterrestrial parasitoid organism that lays a growing Alien embryo in their chest cavity. Great stuff!
Being exclusively available at SDCC 2014 makes them ephemeral at best and their random, very limited nature makes some of them extremely difficult to acquire now. They now have a permanent place here on HIDEOUS PLASTIC.
This is the fourth page (of an expected minimum of twenty pages) to explore Super7’s ALIEN ReAction figure product line on this site. I’ll be adding a handy landing page soon making all of these entries quick to find and easy to use on a single location on this blog. I’ll add that sometime this weekend or maybe early next week. We shall see. Nonetheless, it is coming. In the meantime, a placeholder graphic has been placed on the sidebar where you can expect to easily find links to all ALIEN ReAction figure content I am adding.
Six figures comprise this Wave setting the shape of things to come from Super7. For me, that means another seventeen pages worth of content yet to add. At this rate – at about one page every two or three days – I should be finished sometime in the New Year. Not that that’s a long way off, mind you.
Eventually, I will be documenting all forty one currently released 3.75 inch ALIEN ReAction figures in this way with photos, information and other details. This will take some time but I will drip feed them all onto the site as they are completed and made ready.

This looks like a great, well rounded set with each character having at least one accessory, except for Bishop. A duct taped pair of weapons is included with Ripley, Newt has her doll’s head Casey and the marines each carry their signature weapons; and in the cases of Hicks and Hudson a pair of helmets to match. In lieu of any weapons or helmets Bishop has a unique pull apart action feature. 
ALIENS Wave 1 consisted of three different Xenomorphs and has been available for some time now. Wave 2 featuring Ripley, Newt and Bishop are coming next week. Wave 3, comprising of Hicks Hudson and Vasquez will appear sometime later this year. Here’s a word from Super7, ““Stop your grinnin’ and drop your linen!” Coming in HOT next Wednesday (5/6) from one of Super7’s favorite movies are the HUMAN additions to the Aliens 3.75” ReAction Figures assortment! Joining Ripley, Newt and Bishop are Troopers Hicks, Hudson, and Vasquez! All come with accessories (including Newt with doll’s head) and Bishop features pull apart attack damage!
