HIDEOUS PLASTIC is now live and ready to show the World what it has to offer.
This site’s greater purpose is to provide News, detail the latest developments and promote the non-fiction book, HIDEOUS PLASTIC, which is dedicated to the 1979 Kenner Products ALIEN Action figure. The book is currently approaching completion.
Despite the fact the book is almost finished, there’s still a ton of work to be done. As such there’s no release date just yet. It’s not likely for the book to be available until August, 2017 at the earliest. A KickStarter campaign is also yet to be set up so keep your eyes on this site for News regarding that item, too. That’s expected to go live around early 2017.
Of more immediate interest to you will be an announcement slideshow video for the book. It will provide a general outline of the contents and is due to go live very soon, in a couple of days, actually; so keep an eye open for that item. Mind you, even without the announcement video you’ll figure out very quickly what the book contains just by casually poking around this site.
I’ve still got my work cut out for me right now but if you are an ALIEN fan or serious toy enthusiast, then HIDEOUS PLASTIC promises to be an unique non-fiction book full of fascinating content. I think you will enjoy what is on offer. A book of this nature has never been written before and this Grand Adventure is a challenging undertaking so please bare with me.
