Now, About this Proposed Trilogy..?

One question I’ve been asked several times now is how do I intend to make a trilogy out of HIDEOUS PLASTIC?

Well, firstly I need to get this volume, In stores everyone can hear you scream completed.  It’s a massive Project.  Right now, the book is at a point where I am about to start sourcing out quotes from printers and binders to get ready for the KickStarter campaign which is proposed to commence in March 2017.  Needless to say, I still have a lot of work on my plate in this regard.

As word slowly spreads across the ‘net and the visitors to this site increases, it means I can start concentrating on other tasks other than just propping it up with content.  Those other tasks include fleshing out the currently bare bones content for Volumes 2 and 3.  These will be very different in their presentation to Volume 1.

Not only is the first volume rapidly reaching a point where it’s becoming a tangible thing, I now have all the base infrastructure (web site, legal advice, tools and resources etc.) in place  to make the process easier for the follow up Volumes.

While the first book is solely dedicated to the original 1979 Kenner ALIEN action figure, it’s care, repair, maintenance and its direct derivatives and descendants the 2nd and 3rd books will be very different in scope and presentation.

As to what their content will be, let’s just say there’s been a lot of ALIEN (and PREDATOR) action figures, statuettes and model kits released during the last three and a half decades.

There’s at least 2 books worth of content just waiting to be written about those items.  Once In stores everyone can hear you scream is closer to completion, I will be in a much better position to discuss these follow up Projects in more detail.

Of course, the success of this current volume will have a major influence on whether books 2 and 3 proceed to development.  I need to make this happen, first.  I hope that helps you understand my long term plans.  One thing I can say now, is if the KickStarter campaign is a roaring success, then any surplus funds beyond the final stretch goal will be allocated to developing those follow up books.

Thank you for asking.  Contact me if you wish.
