Today I finalised the remaining components of HIDEOUS PLASTIC’s KickStarter campaign to get the book funded for publishing.  This means I am getting ready to make the big launch!  I am setting a day aside, tomorrow, to review the entire campaign and make any last minute changes.

The video and several minor costing elements that were missing until today were finally  put into place.   At this stage, everything is running smoothly and the campaign will be submitted to launch very soon.  March 1 looks to be the Big Day.

The campaign will run for 2 months.  I’ve decided a 60 day campaign is in everyone’s best interest and I’m not in a rush.  Anyway, discussing those details now is jumping the gun a little prematurely.  There’ll be plenty of time for more details on Launch Day.  All the details.

This is a critical phase of the book’s production.  The book is over 200 pages in length.  I already have a publisher, editor, designer, printer and binder all ready to dive into the work ahead once the Project is funded.  Please support HIDEOUS PLASTIC.  All the costings for production and distribution are complete.  All it needs now is the finances for these various services to be able commence work and ensure the Project proceeds to completion.

With the legal work out of the way and enough content in place, this really is the last major hurdle to cross.  Once this campaign is over, HIDEOUS PLASTIC has a clear path to your doorstep.

Well, in some sense, we’re almost there, already.  The ticket just hasn’t been paid for yet. 😉
