First the good News! Finally, we have release details for Super7’s ALIEN Wave 3 ReAction figures. There’s been some speculation regarding the card color for these items and it’s been confirmed in a Facebook post today these will be Classic retro Kenner blue. This is great news as the blue cards look amazing!

Here’s what the out of packet figures will look like. This is more or less the line up we have been expecting from previous sneak peeks at past conventions. A new version of Ripley (with Jones), Parker, Lambert, Kane (with sinister lobster attached to his face), Brett and another version of the Alien are 6 of the 9 new figures previously teased.
Missing is new version of Dallas, decapitated Ash and another Alien – which will all presumably appear as part of a set of 3x 3 packs, which will contain all 9 figures.
Now for the bad news! There’s always a catch, huh. These items will only be available as a New York Comic Con 2018 exclusive. Dammit. There’s no way I’m getting to this event as I live in Australia. lol. Anyway, here’s the details from the Super7 Facebook page:
At New York Comic Con no one can hear you scream… Super7 x Alien returns with the NYCC Exclusive blue carded Alien Wave 3 ReAction Figures Set! This new set (featuring new sculpts and film accurate colors) will only be available at our Booth 642: Brett, Kane in Spacesuit (with Facehugger), Lambert, Parker, Riply with Jonesy the Cat, and a new Xenomorph with open mouth! Yes, this version of these figures will only be available as a set (not individually) during NYCC. Understood this will upset some but the Super7 convention experience needs to be special for those attending. Sorry… Sometimes life can be like Alien… where some of us are the crew of the ill-fated Nostromo and we can’t all be Ripley.
