Super7’s expansion and completion of the Nostromo crew roster occurred with the release of Wave 3 ALIEN ReAction figures. New to this set of five figures were fresh sculpts of Lambert, Parker and Brett. The set also included a modified variant of Kane in his compression suit with breached faceplate and facehugger attached to his head along with a blood covered version of the Alien.
Much like the previous pre-order Wave 1 ALIEN ReAction figures, this set was mounted on blue card and was exclusively available to attendees at an event, this time New York Comic Con in 2018. This blue carded retro themed set matches the original ALIEN ReAction figure Wave 1 release in all details; once again mimicking the design language Kenner had originally established in their package designs for their vintage ALIEN product line (18 inch Action figure, board game, movie viewer and abandoned 3.75 inch tall ALIEN action figure range) forty years earlier.

Additional Notes.
– Six figures were originally slated for release in this set but a new Ripley colorway featuring Jones the cat as an accessory was delayed and unavailable at SDCC2018, limiting the set to five pieces upon release. This item was then released at a later date.
– This is the 2nd appearance of Lambert in ReAction figure format. Her debut being part of the Nostromo Crew 3 pack also featuring Kane and Dallas. All three characters released as variants of the Kane compression suit figure.
– Parker and Brett appeared in this set for the first time and are completely new characters not previously released in ReAction figure format.
– None of the three new sculpted characters possess any accessories.
– Despite being one of the more recently released sets of figures, this set sold out rapidly and has since become hard to find, escalating prices dramatically. Especially the figures of freshly sculpted versions of Lambert, Parker and Brett mounted on blue cards.
Notes on the Kane figure variant:
– This is the first variant of the Kane in compression suit ReAction figure featuring a breached helmet faceplate and a facehugger molded directly into the figure’s head.
– Kane’s breached helmet featuring shattered faceplate with jagged edges inaccurately captures the collapsed, melted version of the faceplate as it appears in the movie.
– The ALIEN scene depicting Kane’s helmet removal and subsequent reveal of the facehugger possesses a continuity error. No snoopy cap is present on actor John Hurt (See images below.) in the scene. The presence of the snoopy cap on the facehugged Kane figure makes this figure more accurate than the movie itself.
Notes on the card backs:
– The card backs are exactly alike across all releases in the Wave 3 set of figures.
– Along with the Wave 3 product range, the card backs feature a sample listing of various other ALIEN figures available outside of Wave 3.
– Included in the card back available character listings are both (infected) versions of Kane from Wave 2 and the complete set of three Nostromo 3 pack compression suit figures.
– Four other unreleased (at the time) Wave 3 figures featuring new colorways of (1.) Ripley and (2.) Dallas along with an (3.) android fluid spattered Ash with removable head and the (4.) extended tongue version of the bloodied Alien are also featured on the card backs. These four Wave 3 items were all released at a later date, across multiple product lines.
– The Wave 3 product range depicted on the card backs is incomplete and omits the Wave 3 bloodied variant of the Alien that is included in this set, instead including the bloodied extended tongue version on the back which is almost exactly alike except for minor head alterations.
