Mexican bootleg, Predalien with light up chest. (Year of release: Unknown.)
I don’t care what anybody else says about this wonderful item, the No.10 spot has to go to this outlandish 8 inch tall Mexican weirdo. I like to think of this unauthorised bootleg Predalien created by an unknown manufacturer as having an identity crisis. It was originally distributed with a handful of accessories including a Predator’s mask, plasmacaster and wristblades – typical weapons associated with Predators and yet it’s an Alien.
This lurid piece of junk displays familiar features common to other spuriously made Mexican bootleg action figures. It is translucent green and boasts incredibly badly paint flourishes of gold and purple scattered throughout its body. When pressed, a button recessed into its back will light up inside its chest. The lights will cycle through red, blue and green flashing LEDs. The light show display has 3 different speed settings and this thing looks astonishing in the dark.
With all these strange features going for it, what’s there not to love about it..? So, yes. It sits at the No.10 spot. No higher, though. lol.
