From what I saw of this campaign from 2017 it was somewhat unsatisfactory. For the sake of purchasing every ALIEN action figure last year from NECA, members were privileged to receive a light card Kenner inspired back drop to display their figures and the opportunity to purchase (wasn’t a freebie) an exclusive limited edition purple repressing of an already released figure. The fact this new purple figure has still not yet been made available to club members doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence, either.
Needless to say, a lot of fans haven’t been too impressed with the value for their dedication. I’m actually surprised to see this campaign is being continued by NECA.
