We haven’t seen much in the way of information from NECA regarding ALIEN figures or News about them in recent months.  NECA was completely dry on any reveals at this past ALIEN Day in April.  Lately, there’s been a flood of very promising tidbits on Twitter by NECA.  Here take a look at this selection.  There’s probably something for everyone!

Firstly, it’s looking highly likely we’ll be seeing more Kenner tribute items soon.  Possibly at SDCC.  I read in another Tweet, ALIEN Resurrection figures might be on display there:

Looks like NECA are planning some 40th Anniversary items to be released next year.  Can’t wait to see what they have in mind:
NECA have attributed the lack of content coming our way to ‘unscrupulous factories’:

Looks like the future of the DC vs AvP 2 pack is still up in the air, with announcements pending:

NECA are still committed to releasing a new AvP-R Hybrid Predalien figure sometime in the future.  We saw this item originally teased about 18 months ago now, but it’s great to see an updated version of the Predalien is still on NECA’s agenda:

…and finally, it looks like NECA have no SDCC exclusive this year.  I have no problem with that.  Chasing up convention exclusives is a real pain in the butt.  I’m sure NECA will have other reveals for us though.  Those aforementioned ALIEN: Resurrection and new Kenner tribute items may just show up at this year’s Con.  SDCC starts on July 22 so we’ll find out around then.

So there you have it.  Largely good News and those results were just a casual bouncing around on Twitter on my part.  There’s probably a ton more updates, but these are the ones that caught my eye.  News about a few items confirmed to still be on the way are welcome.  Next year’s 40th Anniversary ALIEN announcements has me intrigued and curious. Looking forward to hearing more about those.
