Lanard Toys are soon releasing Wave 2 of their current ALIENS Collection toys product line. Two large box set collections featuring different colorways of extant toys from the manufacturer will soon be released via Walmart in the US and Smythes in the UK. 
The ALIEN QUEEN ULTRA SET features a new take on their previously available purple Queen Alien along with a pair of Aliens (also cast in alternate colours), a facehugger, an egg and a hapless Marine. Now this looks like a great, all encompassing set of ALIEN toys specifically intended as children’s toys.
Lanard Toys second component of this upcoming release is intentionally themed around the movies ALIEN, ALIENS and ALIEN 3. Creatures from each movie are the main features of this box set. It also contains a trio of more generic ‘marine’ figures re-purposed from their popular The Corps line of action figures and toys. Once again, different colorways of each Alien are featured in the set representing the Big Chap, a Warrior Alien and the Dog Alien. 
Both of these items will be available soon in the US via Walmart and in the UK via Smythes. Information regarding their release in Australia and other regions around the world is currently unavailable.
While all the contents of these packages have seen prior release these variants do look fantastic! Nonetheless, Lanard Toys does have plans for more toys in their ALIENS Collection range and while information is scant at best, it’s believed fans are in for a real treat as new content is yet to be revealed. #ThankLanardForBringingTheFun and releasing ALIEN toys into the world once again so that children can grow up experiencing face ripping space monster joy. Just like previous generations did at Christmas 1979; and again later, during the 1990’s.
Someone’s got to fly this flag as Kenner no longer exists. We celebrate this fact.

I found the alien trilogy set, but have not seen the alien queen ultra set. Has anybody seen it in the U.S.
Any idea when they’re hitting Walmart? I have an anxious 5 year old driving me crazy every day checking Walmart daily, please any info!!!
That’s a good question; and I am sorry, I don’t know when they will be available. I don’t have an answer. I’m also keeping an eye out for more News regarding more Lanard ALIEN toys. I know they’re also on the way. So you may have an ‘anxious 5 year old’ on your hands for some time yet when he discovers those, too.

Thanks for posting this! It’s weird but this has become my favorite toy line, to the point that I’m looking for 4″ stuff to fit in with them. Lanard doesn’t do a bunch of press like the big companies do, so I was just regularly searching Alien Larnard Wave 2, hoping that the first batch wasn’t a one off. Here’s hoping they do a drop ship.
