As often happens, some announcements slip by unnoticed on the day, so a few late additions are inevitable.  Here’s one such item that scurried away unseen.

The new facehugger has been afforded the ‘Bonus Edition’ treatment by Eaglemoss.  No.4, actually.  This large scale 10 inch long figurine is now available for a discount price from their online store.

Pre orders are now live on BigBadToyStore for Eaglemoss upcoming latest additions to their ALIEN & PREDATOR figurine collection.  Coming soon is Ripley 8 from ALIEN Resurrection and an Alien I have no idea what it’s from.  A comic..?  or video game, maybe.  Dunno.  Not familiar with the origin of this figurine.  Anyway, the Tusked Xenomorph makes it item no.40 in Eaglemoss popular range of figurines.

Pre-order for each of these items is US$29.99.  They are estimated to be released in November, 2018.  More information is now available for the Tusked Xenomorph and Ripley 8.

The 2nd large scale release in Eaglemoss ‘ALIEN ship’ series is a Limited Edition version of ALIENS’ USS Sulaco, and it is now available.

Only 3000 pieces are being made of this magnificent spacecraft measuring 20cm.  More details can be found on the Eaglemoss UK online store.

Judging by positive accounts of the Nostromo miniature released earlier from Eaglemoss, this item looks like a promising addition to any ALIENS fan’s collection.

Eaglemoss have announced their ALIEN Day, April 26, celebration with the opportunity to win a ton of prizes and goodies.  Looks like all you have to do is submit your email address to be in the draw.

Unfortunately, the usual terms and conditions apply – The same old “Blah, blah blah…” that informs you the contest is only available to residents of the US, “Blah, blah, blah…”

Australia deserves ALIEN Day goodies, too, y’know.  lol.  Oh, well.  It’s no big deal, I guess.
Mind you, it is April 1st today.  So, is this an elaborate April Fool’s Day gag on behalf of Eaglemoss..?  Probably not.  All the same, good timing there, Guys.

Eaglemoss have announced pre-orders are now available for the 3rd figurine in their Special Series of large figurines.  The Rogue Xenomorph King is 24cm (9.5 inches) and expected to ship sometime in April, 2018.

Here’s what Eaglemoss have to say about this upcoming release, “Inspired by the acclaimed Aliens: Rogue comic book, the latest Special Issue in the Alien and Predator Figurine Collection is the imposing Xenomorph King.

Standing a massive 24 cm tall the Rogue Xenomorph King Figurine strikes a pose of determination emphasised as he rises to watch over the six detailed alien eggs that swarm around his clawed feet. I don’t have any information on this item just yet, (The Eaglemoss site redirects me to their castrated and underwhelming Australian site. Which is useless in the extreme.) but here is an image of their upcoming ALIEN: Covenant figure. This looks absolutely bad ass!  Such a great movie and this is the film’s signature Alien in it’s definitive stance.

Looks like pre-orders are open for Eaglemoss ALIEN & PREDATOR figurine collectibles of Fifield and Ripley.  Mutated Sean Fifield (Issue #31)  from the ill fated Prometheus expedition and ALIENS version of Ellen Ripley (Issue #32) are heading our way.  One of these figures is super sexy and confronted some nasty alien thingy – the other is an over rated wench from last Century – you figure out which one is which.

Seriously, though.  It’s great to see Ripley finally being represented in her ALIENS garb, ready to confront the Queen; and the alternate version of Fifield Eaglemoss have gone with here will contrast well with the more screen accurate version NECA released some time back.

Honestly, though.  Fifield is the sexier one of the two items on offer here.  The raging, out of control pigeon toed mutant going ballistic wins my vote.  Either way, it looks like these will be available 0n 25 April, 2018.

Eaglemoss have posted some images of upcoming ALIEN figurines on instagram.  Coming soon is the Swimming Alien from ALIEN Resurrection and Kane being attacked by Facehugger.  These do look neat and Eaglemoss has been delivering a lot of great content in the 5 inch range.

Our silent space traveling friend, the enigma known only as ‘The Space Jockey’,  wil be available soon as a figurine by Eaglemoss.  The 22cm tall ‘Bonus Edtion 1’ statuette is now available for pre-order from the HeroCollector online store.

Looks like Eaglemoss is going to be hitting this year’s New York Comic Con with a deluge of ALIEN themed merchandise.  Included is some big surprises.  Spearheading this range of figurines will be a pair of 2 packs featuring tributes to old Classic Kenner ALIENS action figures.

First up, is the Bull and Gorilla Alien tribute items as part of Eaglemoss’ ALIENS Retro Collection.  Now these look terrific!  They won’t have any articulation by the looks of it but this set looks fantastic and comes in a neat 2 pack.
