UPDATED: Bootlegs, Knock Offs and Other “Illegal Aliens”.

Expanding the section dedicated to unlicenced and bootleg ALIEN products, ALINES -vs- COLONIC MARINES have now been added. Bagged ‘n’ tagged with a header inspired by a more legitimate product made by Diamond Select, this parody is overloaded with gags, errors and a variety of other anomalies. The least deserving being the actual contents themselves – comprised of plastic army men and a variety of lurid coloured insects. There’s more to be said about this outlandish unlicenced product. You can find more details about this 100% illegitimate item which overtly declares that “In space no one cares” is a virtue, right here.

The HIDEOUS PLASTIC area dedicated to unlicenced ALIEN products, toys and action figures has had new entries made to it. Notably, Snailiens and 3D printed BootLEGO items. Thank you Sean Pound for your contribution to this update.

The amount of weird & wonderful items now residing in this cordoned off area is growing steadily. Inside, you will find Snailiens, ALIEN-MAN, bootLEGO, Pokemon/ALIEN cossovers… and a variety of other unlicenced goodies that deserve more legitimate production but will most likely never see such attention.

UPDATED: ImPerfect Organisms.

Here’s a subtle error that many fans found a little perplexing upon release of Funko’s range of ALIEN Covenant “David” figure. It’s widely accepted this package doesn’t contain David, the android as identified on the box. Instead, this item is intended to be Walter, David’s android upgrade. For this reason, this Funko POP! figure has earned its place to be celebrated among the various other oddities and production errors that comprise the ImPerfect Organisms section of HIDEOUS PLASTIC. Have fun with those.

UPDATED: ImPerfect Organisms.

This wonderful anomaly arrived on my doorstep just the other day. It’s a NECA ALIEN Classic Series Neomorph, inverted in sealed package. He’s a beauty! This item has now been added to the section, ImPerfect Organisms, dedicated to factory errors and defective products. As Mr. Squiggle would say, “Upside down, Miss Jane”. Stranger Things eat yer heart out.

Kenner used this method to hold both arms in place and give them flexibility at the shoulder joints. I don’t throw anything out, so these artifacts from multiple tear downs of the toy now only serve as testimony to how easily these arms can break off, leaving these anchors sitting inside the torso. These items are broken and now of extremely limited use.
